Social responsibility

We live in a society where justice has the best and more advanced means of crime detection and prevention that we’ve ever seen. Police officers, detectives and all investigators have access to a lot of tools and means to make sure that justice is served and that the guilty are found guilty. But the best crime fighting tool out there is still the average citizen, you and me. It is our social and practical responsibility to be aware of what is going on around us and report crime as we suspect it. Of course nobody expects you to go out and fight crime – that would be too close to appealing to vigilantism, but using the crime reporting tools at your disposal, like calling emergency numbers or contacting the police directly, is definitely something you should do if you feel you should. It is about keeping your neighbors, yourself and your family safe.
